A Gallic jaunt through the "City of Light" with the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, as Dmitry Sitkovetsky offers up some Debussy, Ravel, Faure, Offenbach, Massenet and Bizet. The Ravel Piano Concerto in G is played by Russian-American pianist Ignat Solzhenitsyn, the galloping overture to Orpheus in the Underworld gets the tour started, via the Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and the L’Arlésienne Suite.
