Boys Choir at St. Peter's

cco-st-peters-200The Boys Choir at St. Peter's is part of The Choir School at St. Peter's in Charlotte. Founded in 1993, The Choir School at St. Peter’s is dedicated to providing quality music education and performance opportunities to talented boys and girls throughout the Charlotte Metropolitan area without regard to religious, racial or economic differences. Composed of over 100 auditioned boys and girls, ages 8 -18 in five separate choirs, The Choir School is funded through private and corporate donations. The choirs perform three major concerts at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church during the year, with additional performances in and around Charlotte as time allows. Each summer, the three older choirs tour for a week, singing daily in churches and retirement centers along the East Coast. Every four years, the MasterSingers, a mixed-voice teen choir, travels to England to perform in the great Anglican Cathedrals.
